Pre/Post Packages
Several of us will be booking pre & post packages to add a few extra days in New Orleans.
If you would like to join us, please let us know.
Citizenship
A valid U.S. passport is required! Please check the expiration date of your passport as it needs to be valid 9 months from your scheduled return date.
That means your passport needs to be valid until October 2026.
Transfers
There are several options regarding arriving at and departing from the Port of New Orleans.
1st…you can self-drive and park at the pier. Check with the Port of New Orleans website for rates.
2nd…You can use a taxi from the airport to the port. One way is roughly $85.
3rd…Carnival offers transfers. To/From Airport/Cruise port is $40 per person – one way.
These transfers need to be booked at least 30 days prior to departure.

Group Dining Time
Our scheduled group dining time is 6:00PM.
On the first night, please sit at your assigned table.
After we see which tables are ours – we can mix up our seating.
Not Included
Transfers from the airport to/from the ship, personal purchases, shore excursions,
tipping, travel insurance, alcohol or soda.
Tipping
The cruise ship is a “cashless” society.
To make the tipping process easier, the cruise line will automatically add
$112 (per person) to your onboard account.
If everything is good, the cruise line will use this money to tip
everyone involved in your vacation experience.
The amount is totally to your discretion.
If you would like to increase or decrease the amount – it’s up to you.
Also, if you would like to target a special staff member because of outstanding service,
you are welcome to secure a tipping envelope from the purser’s desk.

Airfare
If you are flying to New Orleans, please make sure to arrive no later than
12 noon on January 11, 2026, and no earlier than 3:00PM on January 18, 2026.
Cancelation Policy
Please refer to Carnival Cruises website for their cancelation policy.
Payments
A deposit of $300 per person holds your space and is due at the time of booking.
Final payment is due on or before, October 6, 2025.
Insurance
We strongly recommend adding travel insurance to your vacation. Contact Dan for information.
Notice
This is a closed group, meaning only those guests who book with Papa Dan Travel
will be admitted to our performances. If you book privately, you will save a few dollars while at the same time stealing from our wonderful performers.
